The Marshall Tourism Fee awarded the next organizations on Wednesday, Sept. 7, for the FY 2022-2023 Finances 12 months: Part C-Advertising and marketing 1. Boonslick Space Tourism Council — $2,665 2. Mates of Jim — $1,053 3. Mates of Pennytown Historic Web site — $350 4. Jacque McCorkle and Brittni Burton (Holly Days Procuring) — $ 1,320 5. Missouri State Cornhusking Affiliation — $2,067 6. Nicholas-Beazley Aviation Museum — $7,556 7. Scope of Work — $44,512 It was reported the subtotal for Part C — Advertising and marketing was $59,523. The subtotal for Part D-Improvement was $95,664 and included these organizations: 1. Mates of Pennytown Historic Web site — $631 2. Missouri State Cornhusking Affiliation — $2,500 3. Skilled Providers — Scope of Work — $30,310 4. Assist Providers — Scope of Work — $2,700 Funds might be used Oct. 1 via Sept. 30, 2022.

Scope of Work is a listing of present occasions, actions, amenities, and points-of-interest in Marshall that at present (or have the potential to) promote tourism. Skilled Providers is what the fee contributes to the tourism coordinator’s wage.

The tourism coordinator works with grantee recipients to coordinate, improve, and develop advertising materials in an effort to reinforce advertising efforts that improve tourism visitors inside Marshall.
